What I don’t undertand is after all the things that have gone on over the history of time in regards to the Jewish Heritage, how come you still see Jewish people supporting the exact type of oppression that was used against them for so many generations?
.. and that’s “Some” Jewish people, not all.
Dunno. I always wonder that myself. For such a strong, independent people who have survived so much shit, there certainly seem to be a lot of leftist activist nanny state Jews.
I’m a member of the Jews for the Preservation of Firearm Ownership, and they’re against all this crap.

I haven’t noticed the cellophane on the regular cigarettes because I switched to a brand manufactured by a native american tribe as soon as the new taxes were enacted. Any way to deny the government more tax revenue!!
I noticed something similar in regards to traffic control. Ever wonder why sometimes, late at night, you’re driving and coming up to a lone light? You can see it a mile out. Then, just as you get close to it, the thing turns red. Why? There’s no car waiting to go. It’s because they want to slow you down. Or there’s a cop sitting on the other side waiting for someone to run it.
In Pennsylvania we have a law regarding takeout beer from bars and restaurants- they limit you to two sixpacks. You can come back and buy as many as you like, but you can only carry 2 out at a time.
When government can’t outright force people into compliance, they annoy them into compliance.
Tobacco is under state law, not federal. I don’t understand how Obama is to blame in this situation.
TS:
While there are state laws,
There are many federal tobacco laws:

Think (or search) before you post.
Moreover, the whole Obama administration isn’t paying a lot of attention to what they can do, they’re just doing it.

Michael, your post dealt with the packaging of cigarettes. That’s what I was referring to when I said that tobacco is under state law. All of the federal laws for tobacco are pre-Obama. So, again, how is he to blame?
Constitutionally, there’s no a reason requirement for health care should be under Federal law, but they’re taking it there.

i wonder whether the president’s smokes open-up easier… although, i presume he’s got an assistant to handle them for him. great new blog, man!
Thanks Mark, that’s an honor coming from you!
Does Barry Obama still smoke? I bet he’s still on again / off again, and trying to punish everyone else for his filthy habit.

Really enjoying the new blog!
That sunstien fellow is a real peice of shit…I was just complaining the other day that this is supposed to be a free republic and as such, we shouldn’t have people with the title “czar”…but you know what? Nobody asked for them, nobody elected them…they just showed up one day and started exerting power over us. I think Czar is a pretty good moniker for such a person.
You can “nudge” all you want, fathead; but don’t act suprised suprised if free people nudge back….
