We just bought a house, and you know A HOUSE IS NOT A HOME WITHOUT AN AK-47 TO PROTECT IT. I made that saying up, but I’m sure it’s as true here as it is in Iraq.
Check out our new Yugo AK-47. Yup, believe it or not, the AK commonly said by experts to be the best AK is made in Yugoslavia by the same company, Zestava / Zestava Arms, that made the YUGO automobile. (The cop ridden in the movie “Dragnet” by Dan Aykroyd and Tom Hanks. In the movie, Dan Aykroyd calls the car “The cutting edge of Serbo-Croatian technology.”)
It’s an M-70 AB2, the very best AK you can get, and we’ve got one! yay! You’re not a real libertarian if you don’t own a rifle (and know how to use it), so get your Yugo AK-47 here. Be sure to pick up some commie cold-war ammo too.
Sgt. Joe Friday (Dan Aykroyd) narrating: “After losing the two previous vehicles we had been issued, the only car the department would release to us at this point was an unmarked 1987 Yugo…a Yugoslavian import donated as a test vehicle by the government of that country and reflecting the cutting edge of Serbo-Croatian technology.”
It’s a great Schumer-hits-the-fan gun to keep zombies at bay. And it’s NOT LEGAL IN CALIFORNIA. (The best things aren’t.)

Never forget what they say,

Did you ever find out if AK mags are interchangable among manufacturers, and between semi-auo and full-auto versions?
I would assume they are, but sometimes proprietary manufacturing considerations trump practical considerations, at least when somebody starts smelling money.
I’ve read that for the most part, they are interchangable.
My rifle came with four mags, one seems to be the original (unmarked, metal), and the other three are plastic from Tapco.
The metal one misfed a few times, none of the Tapco ones did at all. They all worked flawlessly.
This gun is pretty damn easy to shoot.

Dang. I’m feeling inferior with my Tula SKS.
Sell it and buy one of these. Only $550 with shipping.

Mike,
Hope you had a happy 4th, went on Vacation and drove through Wyoming, loved it, but kids insisted on driving all the way to LA.
I see what you mean about that place, looks like a dirty armpit from Hell, what happened to that place ?.
LA , like all of California, is suffering from 50 years of socialism, and unlimited handouts with unlimited border protection.

Nice! Bonus points for having the shoulder thing that goes up.

also, did you know there’s a gun blog called “the shoulder thing that goes up”?
Almost as much fun as a Mosin Nagant aren’t they?
Wanna see some good Yugo humor? Watch Drowning Mona, LOL.
I’m Gonna Get Ya Sucka has some pretty good Yugo stabs in it too.
Congrats on the new acquisition! I look forward to my first AK purchase here in a couple of months.
yay! lemme know what you think.
One note, the surplus commie ammo IS corrosive. Not as bad as the Mosin stuff, but I still use Windex at the range then clean after every firing.
I had problems with stovepipe misfires. Fixed it by cleaning the gas tube and the extractor.
My AK, out of the box, was the filthiest gun I’ve EVERY owned. took like 50 patches to clean everything! It musta seen some use in Yugoslavia in the 70s, and been “rode hard and put away wet” and never cleaned.
